I cut my hair

Today I feel like: Jennifer Grey, because I cut my hair and it looks all bouncy just like hers.

A new haircut makes me feel different.  A lot of things have made me feel different recently.  Kim’s baby. My new apartment. My scheduled surgery (August 5th btw).  The random strangers who keep asking me my age and then responding with “no way.”  

Apparently I look 18.  At 18 people are graduating from high school.  How can I look 18?  My friends’ say its my aura.  I have a young spirit.  I suppose this is good.  I’m definitely lacking the wisdom of someone older.  

Part of me has begun wishing that I would just meet a nice businessman who could support me.  I am so happy I’m going to see my family.  I so need a vacation. Even if part of it is spent recovering on a couch.  

And I know my hair will be long again by the winter (and I’ll be glad for it) but I really like it this way.
